My Story
After 10 years at Microsoft building data systems and leading engineering teams, early 2025 became a turning point. I was among the first to try integrating AI coding agents into daily development work, and the results reshaped how thousands of developers on my teams approach their code.
The shift happened during a project where my manager set an unusual constraint: complete the entire implementation without writing a single line of code manually. What seemed impossible became an opportunity to figure out what AI-human collaboration could actually look like in practice.
Every obstacle became a puzzle to solve through AI alone — debugging sessions, system integrations, performance tuning. Each challenge forced me to develop new workflows and interaction patterns.
What came out of it wasn't just a shipped project, but a set of methods that changed how engineering problems could be approached. These practices spread across Microsoft and became the default for AI-assisted development that thousands of engineers now use daily.
Now, as Chief AI at Nayax, I'm applying those lessons to fintech and payment systems. I share what I learn each week — practical insights that help engineering teams get real value from AI tools. When something works this well, it should be out in the open.
